George Hill gets Progressive

Family-run independent timber and builders’ merchant George Hill, who operate their own timber mill in Oldham, have implemented Progressive Solutions' bisTrack software. Company secretary Jayne Hill says the Windows-based nature of the system was a big selling point.

"When I was given the task of sourcing a new computer system, I knew I wanted a fully Microsoft Windows based product rather than a system which has a Windows front end bolted onto a character-based legacy system," she explains.

"I believe bisTrack is the right way forward for us. We need a system which is easy to use, lets us find information and documents instantly and allows me to produce reports very quickly."
