Business control

Clearly you need to keep a close eye on the business to keep moving forwards. Controlling your stock, and controlling your costs is a big part of this. bisTrack can help.Keeping on top of your figures

Stock control

bisTrack supports stock recording detail for the most demanding of companies:

  • multiple picking zones (e.g. doors and kitchen worktops in separate warehouses)
  • multiple bin locations for bulk stock and picking stock
  • physical stock and free stock,
  • allocations from forward orders
  • stock on order and stock due, allowing you to sell from shipping documents before stock has physically arrived
  • stock with third parties, allowing Added Value Operations to be sub-contracted
  • stock with processing, allowing stock issued to internally to be accounted for whilst work/fabrication is in progress.

Stock rotation and test certificates

Stock may be kept separate by batch received for first-in, first-out rotation and costing. Costs may be actual or standard. Test certificates or similar documents can be cross-referenced to batches or individual items and may be viewed from within order screens.

Branch transfers and account synchronization

Stock may be transferred between branches with automatic generation of the required General Ledger entries. bisTrack is readily synchronized with your accounts package (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Sage, Business Works, etc.).

Keeping track of your stock

All stock movements are traceable from receipt through to issue. Any stock adjustments require a reason code for management of write-offs, damage, free-of-charge issues, and so on.

Stock takes

Stock takes may be perpetual, by range or full stock counts. bisTrack supports the stock controller with count sheets and variance reports for single blind stock counts. Being a Windows-based product, handheld count devices are simple to integrate with bisTrack. Handheld and wireless devices really cut down the work in stocktaking as well as reducing errors. As new technology comes along, the software may easily be extended to take advantage.

Benefits: You want to sell stock now, but you also wan’t to be in the strongest possible position to meet customer demand next week, the week after, and the week after that. You need pinpoint control and visibility of your stock at all times.
