Quotes and orders are at the heart of your system, so it is crucial that bisTrack makes it as easy as possible to process them. Usability was a key design priority for us from day one. Our customers seem to agree with that aim.bisTrack includes flexible credit card processing

Types of order

bisTrack can be used in different ways:

  • at the counter or in the back office
  • full picking and delivery steps, or printing delivery documents on order acceptance
  • immediate counter collection, scheduled

Converting quotes to order

Details can be entered as a quotation and converted to an order or vice versa. Orders can be ‘parked’ or stock can be reserved for 24 hours, all directly from the bisTrack toolbar.

Your choice of hardware

On the counter you can use touch-screens, barcode readers, industrial keyboards & mice, and magnetic card readers, to fully automate input at high volume locations. Large labelled buttons make things easy for touch-screen or keyboard-only users. Wireless barcode handhelds allow rapid product scanning, speeding transactions along.

Cash or credit?

Credit accounts can be changed to/from cash paid accounts, retaining any terms or special prices. Cash payment methods supported are cash, debit cards, credit cards (chip and PIN), purchasing cards and CODs. You can even use multiple payment types (e.g. £10 cash and the balance by credit card).

Special orders

For specials, back-to-back purchase ordering with your suppliers is supported. Both sides of the process are linked to each other, with transparency of related documents (subject to security and permissions of course).

Back orders

If any lines are out of stock, they may be put onto back order, with automatic release and messaging when stock is received.

Purchase orders and security

To ensure you get paid, not only can you enforce the entry of your customer’s purchase order reference, you can also check it is in the right format (e.g. starts with a ‘B’, followed by 4-digits).

For tighter security at the trade counter, you can keep a list of staff allowed to collect and sign for goods — including support for ID photos and specimen signatures. You can use signature pads validated against the authenticated signature to verify identities.

Benefits: Does everything you need, the way you need it to. (Some other packages work well, but demand that you change the way you run your business. Which is kind of back-to-front in our book.)

Testimonials

"We looked at several systems, but most of them were using the same out-of-date technology as the system we were replacing!"
