Offline trading

Offline trading is ideal for those customers who send salespeople out on the road, but who don’t always want, or need, to be connected at all times. Your people can take orders as normal, but download them periodically when they are back at base or home.

Sales people have access to all product, customer and pricing details, trading history, but they’ll be looking at a snapshot of the stock from their last download time. If a stocked item has since insufficient stock when you come to process the orders, a back order is triggered in the normal way. Similarly, if your customer has gone over their credit limit during the offline period, this is captured and handled correctly.

Benefits: Access trading history, product and pricing without needing a network connection or investing in new hardware.
