Charging the right price
Every product has a default selling price. This may be unique to the product or shared across a range (e.g. a range of paints where the only variable is the colour). Matrix pricing and customer special pricing are both supported. Managing your pricing structures can be as simple or as comprehensive as you like.
You can have multiple 'pers' for each product, e.g. selling by each, box, hundred, etc. and multiple prices by product. Using bisTrack your price management system will never be limited by the software.
Managing price options
Sales orders support all the pricing options you need. For pricing discussions there is a dedicated negotiation panel. You can always see the pricing history for the customer and product.
Managing profit margins
Complete control over the profit margins you are taking — at branch level, company level or by user. You can cap the discounts your staff can give away. There are security-controlled overrides, for that extra special customer, if you really know what you are doing!
bisTrack lets you manage and build on the basic pricing structure to fully implement your own custom pricing rules:
- as many prices per product as you need
- quantity breaks, with optional aggregation by like products
- matrix pricing (customer type x product type) pointing to a price and/or discount(s)
- multi-currency for trading across borders
- customer special prices by product or product groups, optionally restricted by issuing branch or restricted to a customer site.
Effective dates and promotions
All prices can have effective from/to dates allowing easy set up of promotional prices. To support your marketing, points per product, 'buy 2 get 1 free', and other similar features are supported. If there’s a pricing structure we can’t handle, we’d probably like to know about it.
