Progressive Solutions is proud to announce that Ridgeons Ltd will be implementing bisTrack software across all its East Anglian sites. This major independent merchant represents one of Progressive’s largest customers in the UK with 600 of its staff set to use bisTrack when it goes live next year.

Ridgeons’ decision followed an in-depth analysis of around 20 software suppliers in search of a system which met the long term development plans for their merchant, importing and distribution operations. bisTrack was developed specifically for merchants, wholesalers and other building industry suppliers. It features Windows based cash and credit sales, EDI, stock control, purchasing, pricing and discount management. It’s flexible and easy to use and integrates seamlessly with other business software such as Office applications and ledgers.

Progressive’s General Manager, Robert Collins, said, “We believe Ridgeons specified bisTrack because we offered the combination of the right technology and a thorough understanding of the merchant industry. bisTrack has a very open architecture and Ridgeons were also particularly impressed with how easy it is to extract information for analysis and reporting.”

This is a major investment for our group and I am personally overseeing its implementation with our IT department, project team and a full time project manager seconded from Progressive who will remain here to oversee and ensure a smooth implementation process. We are also taking this opportunity to move our IT centre and upgrade our networks and hardware.”
 
The roll out starts this September and the system will be live in over 20 sites by June 2008.
