The go live is initially in the Eastern Region of the group’s 21 East Anglia branches, closely followed by the remainder of the group. The big switch-on comes after successful pilots at CRS Wholesale and Ridgeons Independent Living, earlier in the year. The businesses have praised the system for ease of use, reliability and the instantly familiar Windows interface. Progressive's efforts have been massively helped by the very positive way that Ridgeons have taken to the system and their pro-active efforts to spread product knowledge through the company. No mean feat with over 600 staff spread across so many branches. But a task the group tackled with gusto. Darren Tobyn, one of the Group Super Users asked to help spread the word, commented: “the ability to change and adapt the system to our requirements was clearly a great positive.” His users are excited by bisTrack's ease of use, multi-tasking ability and the power of searching for customers, products and documents. The core bisTrack solution is supplemented by the Scan Track document archiving, and eBusiness (for paperless trading), add-ons. The Ridgeons internal team of Super Users and trainers are clearly to be congratulated for their skills and attitudes as 'product evangelists'.
