Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence 2011. The Nominations are open

In our own 10^th anniversary year Progressive Solutions UK is proud to support the Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence, also in its 10^th year.

The Awards which will be held in London of the 25^th November have witnessed 10 amazing years of growth, of enterprise and major achievement, thanks to the accomplishments of entrepreneurial merchant companies and the people who make them great.

As a critical supplier to many merchant operations in the UK and Ireland, we’re delighted to celebrate our 10th anniversary by becoming part of what is a major and very prestigious industry event. The Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence recognise all the qualities that we, as a company, strive to maintain as we engage with merchants to develop and deliver software solutions, which effectively address their business challenges.

As sponsor of the Best Builders’ Merchant Website Award, we’re confident the category will draw some impressive nominations, as merchants rely increasingly on their internet presence to promote the breadth of their range and to develop new business.

Criteria for the Best Builders’ Merchant Website:

The judges will be looking for product listings, contact details, working links, terms and conditions, online ordering, electronic invoicing and branch directions, together with ease of navigation. What new initiatives were introduced from the beginning of 2010 to the present? How did they encourage increased or repeat visits to the site? How does the company monitor and measure the visitor traffic and how does this translate into sales?

Guideline: 400 words.

Nominations are open now and the closing date is Friday 2^nd September 2011.  You are permitted to nominate yourself so if you think you have a success story to share about your website why not enter?
