Alsford Timber is to implement Progressive Solutions’ bisTrack software. According to Alsford’s Managing Director, Neil Fuller, “The time was right for a change of software at Alsford’s and we selected bisTrack from a shortlist of three. The primary reason for its selection was the ‘business fit’. Above all we wanted a Microsoft Windows based, intuitive solution which would best serve our claim to be ‘The Timber Experts’ in all of our 20 branches."

Mr. Fuller said there were many features within bisTrack that appealed to his team especially the system’s customisable ‘dashboard’. The ‘dashboard’ gives a real-time view of business performance. This feature was one of the key factors that influenced the purchase decision. Other bisTrack functionality which impressed the Alsford team included works order processing, overall reporting and MIS, and its flexible business controls.
