Progressive: Now available on iPhone
Merchants' customers can now access their accounts anytime of the night or day via an iPhone as part of Progressives Solutions' Web Track software.
The new development was a highlight of Progressive Solutions' recent customer 'Futures Day'. The demonstration was set up to showcase the latest version of Web Track, which provides merchants with a customised internet portal through which their customers can trade or simply work with their accounts.
The event enabled Progressive and existing bisTrack users to share information and give feedback. It also allowed the company to introduce several new software product releases that will soon be available alongside the core bisTrack business management software.
Service Track, which Progressive Solutions initially developed to track and manage its own customer and prospect base, will be released as part of the core* bisTrack system. It's a powerful customer relationship management (CRM) system that is designed to be low maintenance and to help merchants define sales opportunities and manage marketing campaigns.
A new Catalogues feature, planned for release early this year, will allow merchants to access thousands more products outside of their main product file without impacting on the system's performance. It uses bisTrack's eBusiness interface to move products between the catalogue and bisTrack itself, and the company says it will ensure that all product data is kept up to date.
Progressive's managing director, Arthur Duffy, says that bisTrack was developed to help address business challenges, and therefore, it was vital his team kept listening to feedback and discussing new ideas. "We recognise the market is changing and we understand people want tools that will increase productivity and make their life easier. They don't want to buy software; they want to buy solutions to a problem."
