bisTrack releases third generation
Version three of Progressive Solutions' bisTrack software will be released this Spring, introducing several improvements to the system and some new features, including a customer relationship management system.
Progressive's product director, Gary Brookshaw, says: "Over the last three or four years we've continued to develop new features within bisTrack to deliver powerful functionality to our customers. Today, although the software continues to evolve, our emphasis has shifted slightly away from new features into improving what's already in the system. New software releases often include several hundred changes, from tiny tweaks to significant improvements which customers have asked for."
The optional integrated CRM system, which was initially developed to track and manage Progressive's own customer and prospect base, is a major add on for bisTrack version three. "It's a powerful customer relationship management system which is easy for all staff to maintain and, rather than just storing customer information, will help merchants define sales opportunities and manage marketing campaigns,” says Gary Brookshaw. “The obvious advantage of using a CRM system within bisTrack is that it is within bisTrack where you already have all your customer data, eliminating the need to keep two sets of records."

A further 14 separate merchant businesses across the UK have joined bisTrack over the past 12 months, proving that companies were still investing in their businesses despite tough market conditions.
Tippers: newest user
Among the newest users are staff at Midlands-based independent merchant Tippers which is about to implement the software across its six branch operation.
